Tidepool Farm

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Tidepool Farm is the game I open when I want to unwind. You run a small seaside plot where the tide reshapes what you can harvest each day — low tide opens shell beds, high tide floods certain fields. It gives the daily routine a gentle rhythm instead of the usual endless watering grind.

The pace is deliberately slow, and the game trusts you to set your own goals. I spent one week just landscaping paths and never felt like I was falling behind. Villagers have small ongoing stories that unfold if you bother to chat.

It won't hook adrenaline seekers, and that's fine. As a wind-down sim it's beautifully paced, and the tide mechanic is a genuinely fresh twist.
